Why multi-network matters in healthcare
A single-network SIM goes offline if that network is weak or has an outage where the device is. A multi-network SIM can use another UK network instead, which gives care devices a better chance of staying connected. What does pooled data mean?
On a pooled plan, the data allowance is shared across all your SIMs, so a device that uses more data draws on the unused allowance of others.
How much data does a telecare device use?
Most use very little, well under 500MB a month, because they send short status messages and alerts.
